Rural Montana Saves
An Individual Development Account (IDA) is a special matched savings account for people/students with limited incomes. Visit the Student Assistance Foundation website at http://www.safmt.org/or see Ms. Henderson for printed out information. This is a great program for students ages 16-19.
Montana Foster Care Education & Training Vouchers
Montana foster care youth are eligible to receive up to $5,000 per year to cover the cost of attending a postsecondary institution through the Foster Care Education and Training Voucher (ETV) program. The program is offered through a partnership between Student Assistance Foundation and the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (Montana Foster Care Independence Program). 2020-21 United States Senate Youth Program
Two student delegates will be selected from Montana to attend the March 3-10 program in Washington D.C. In addition, both will receive a $10,000 undergraduate college scholarship sponsored by The Hearst Foundation. Eligible Juniors & Seniors may apply. See Ms. Henderson for more information.

U of MT Presidential Leadership
Must have outstanding talent, academic performance, and contribution to the community; Award renewable for four years; 3.5 GPA and an ACT score of 27 or an SAT combined score of 1800 or higher. U of MT Davidson Honors College Presidential Leadership Scholarship
Eligibility: All applicants for admission to the Davidson Honors College will be considered for the Presidential Leadership Scholarship. Eligible candidates for the Presidential Leadership Scholarship must be recent high school graduates who have not previously enrolled as a regular college or university student. Finalists in the fall 2008 class of Presidential Leadership Scholars posted an average of 3.97 GPA, SAT combined score of 2190, or ACT composite score of 31.9. MontanaTech Scholarship Program
MontanaTech will award over $1,000,000 in New/Transfer Scholarships to Montana students. Average scholarship a New Montana student receives is $3,500. 80% of Montana students receive some form of financial aid and/or scholarships. Montana Jaycee Foundation Scholarship
Applications for the $1,000 annual scholarship for Montana Seniors are now being accepted. Log in to download the application at www.mtjcisenate.org.
Carroll College Scholarships
Merit scholarships range from $4,000 to $11,000 for new freshmen. Also available are renewable $1,000 to $3,000 Diversity Scholarships. For more information be sure to check out the Carroll College website at www.carroll.edu/finaid/prostudents/carroll.cc.
Reach Higher Montana Scholarship
These $1,000 scholarships are delivered to Montana students annually.
To qualify, applicants must be:
- Montana high school seniors.
- Montana residents who graduated from a Montana high school and are currently attending a Montana college or university.
- Planning on attending school at least half time.
- Maintaining a 2.5 grade point average (GPA)
- Submitted a 2019-2020 FAFSA

U of MT Western Chancellor's Leadership Scholars Award
To qualify for this scholarship students must have at least a 3.6 GPA, 26 ACT, separate application, resume, 2 letters of recommendation, transcripts, and a 500 word essay describing their most memorable academic achievement. ESA Foundation Scholarships

Montana Association of Conservation Districts
2 $500 Scholarships to Montana students-high school seniors or current college students. Criteria: Montana residency, min. MSU Great Falls COT General Scholarship

Montana State Grange Scholarship
Criteria: Have at least a 2.5 or better GPA; Clear career objectives; Grange Membership (not mandatory); Community activities; Financial need. Applications are available in Ms. Henderson's office.
Foundation for Rural Service 2021 College Scholarship Program This scholarship is offered annually to help further higher education among rural youth. Must be a Blackfoot Telephone customer to qualify. Montana Community Foundation Scholarships -Statewide
A number of scholarships are available to any eligible student from any part of the state. All scholarship applications are located www.mtc.org/applications. The deadline is March 2022.
Montana Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association Scholarship
The Montana Sheriff's and Peace Officer Association announces the availability of two $750 scholarships to be awarded for the fall semester of 2011 to a graduating high school senior who is seeking a career in local law enforcement. Recipients will be selected based on need and academic ability as well as career goals. Application information is available in Mrs. Henderson's office.
2021 Blackfoot Scholarship
The Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative scholarship is designed for post secondary students served by Blackfoot Telephone at their parent's or their own principal residence. Applications are available in Mrs. Henderson's office or can be downloaded at www.blackfoot.com. The deadline is March 2022.
Montana Food Distributors Association Scholarship
The MFDA is searching for high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores or juniors to apply. Applicants must be associated with the Food Industry through either employment or family relationships within the Industry.
Montana PTA Scholarships
The Montana PTA Scholarship Program offers financial assistance to students entering or currently attending a Montana college or university in a child-related field of study. Annually, two $1,000 scholarships are awarded: one to a graduating high school senior, one to a current college student. Odd Fellow & Rebekah Lodges of Montana Scholarship
Requirements: Students with a GPA of 3.0 or less; Planning to attend a college, university, Vo-Tech, Business, Nursing, Beauty School, etc.in Montana. Applications are available in Ms. Henderson's office.
Horatio Alger Montana Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Sponsored by Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation- $5,000 Scholarships + a $5,000 match will be awarded to seniors planning to attend the University of Montana, Montana State University or one of the campuses associated with both: which include: Montana Tech, UM Western, Helena COT, Missoula COT, Great Falls College of Technology, MSU Billings, MSU Northern, Gallatin College or MSU Billings COT. 2021 Black Mountain Software Scholarship

Food & Nutrition Scholarship
The MSNA is offering three $500 scholarships to students interested in pursuing a career in food service, culinary arts, food science, nutrition education, nutrition or dietetics. Montana State Elks Association Music Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to graduating Montana high school seniors whose intentions are to make music a central part of their future. The graduating senior must plan to either major or minor in music education/performance at a school of higher education. The University of Montana Shallenberger Scholarship
$2000 will be awarded to a graduating Montana high school student enrolled at the University of Montana and majoring in physics, physics with an astronomy option, or physics with a computational option. Full Circle Scholarships
The Full Circle Foundation is pleased to offer Scholarship Support to students from rural cities with populations less than 3,000 people who will be the first in their family to attend college. This is a competitive scholarship open to any student who meets the requirements listed above and has a minimum GPA of 2.5. This scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible students. Funds may be used to provide tuition assistance and pay school fees. The selection committee will also consider certain living expenses on an individual basis. Montana Farmers Union Scholarship
The Montana Farmers Union will present two $500 scholarships. The winners will be selected on the following criteria: Must be a high school graduate planning to attend a Univeristy, College, Community College or College of Technology in or out of state; Scholarship must be used the year it is awarded; MT Farmers Union dues must be current; Application packets will be judged on a scale of 1 to 10.
Universal Athletic Services, Inc. Scholarship
$500 Scholarship to be awarded to one male and one female student/athlete graduating from a Montana high school. Must be used at a Montana college or university. Applications are available in Ms. Henderson's office or can be downloaded at www.universalathletic.com.
Montana Mining Association's Gary Langley Memorial Scholarship
Two scholarships of $1000 ($500 for fall, $500 for spring) are available. Applicant must be a MT resident; attend MT Tech, major in Mining Engineering, Metallurgic Engineering, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Geophysical Engineering; have a GPA of 2.5 or higher; be enrolled in at least five (5) classes including a math and a science.
