Greetings from the Counselor's Office at Thompson Falls High School! My name is Jodi Morgan, and the 2020-21 school year marks my thirteenth year as the TFHS Counselor and twelfth year as the National Honor Society Advisor. Born and raised in the Bitterroot Valley, I love living in Western Montana and am blessed to be here in Thompson Falls. I attended college at Dawson Community College where I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Education. I finished my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at The University of Montana. In 2002 I began working on my Master's Degree and graduated from MSU-Billings in 2005 where I earned my M.Ed. in Education - K-12 School Counseling. In the summer of 2016, I completed my K-12 Principal's Endorsement through the University of Montana.
I worked at Denton Public Schools, a small, rural school in Central Montana, for nine years. I served as the K-12 school counselor for six years. Prior to my counseling position I taught in elementary classrooms for four years. In addition to my counseling and teaching responsibilities, I have worked as an activities director, high school girls’ basketball coach, high school track & field coach, National Honor Society/Jr. Honor Society Advisor, and class advisor.
