• Thompson Falls Public Schools is a small school district with three full-time administrators.  There is a district superintendent, a high school principal, and an elementary principal.  There is also a junior high supervising teacher plus the district utilizes the services of the Sanders County Cooperative Special Education Director.  There are five school board members who each are elected for a three-year term.  The district has one full-time clerk.
     
    The Montana Accreditation Standards require a full-time superintendent with 30 or more FTE licensed staff, or 551 or more students. A full-time principal is required for a school with 18-29 FTE licensed staff or 250-550 students.
