Jack Esler Memorial Trade Scholarship
This scholarship was created by the Esler family to support students interested in pursuing a trade. This generous scholarship can be used for a variety of needs. This scholarship is provided with the support of Clark Fork Valley Elks #2747.

The purpose of the Clark Fork Valley Running Club is to promote running as a sport and healthy lifestyle within our community. Each year, the club organizes the Thompson Falls New Year’s Day Run; the Huckleberry Run for Fun; and other events. A portion of the proceeds from these events are set aside to provide an annual scholarship for Sanders County student-athletes. The goal is to encourage running as a life-long activity, as part of a healthy, active lifestyle

HORATIO ALGER DENNIS & PHYLLIS WASHINGTON FOUNDATION UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Seniors
Seniors at Montana high schools who want to go to college now have more help in reaching that goal. The program, administered by the Horatio Alger Association, is specifically for students who have confronted and overcome adversity in their young lives. Students from across Montana will be selected to each receive a $15,000 scholarship and have the honor of being named as a Horatio Alger Montana Scholar. Scholarships can be utilized to pursue higher education at the University of Montana, Montana State University, or one of their affiliates.

Montana’s STEM and Healthcare Scholarship
Open to graduating high school seniors, these awards are designed to provide an incentive for Montana high school students to prepare for, enter into, and complete degrees in postsecondary fields related to science, technology, engineering, mathematics and healthcare. The award is $6,000 over 4 years at an eligible campus.

Blackfoot Communications Scholarship
As part of their commitment to education, the Blackfoot Scholarship Fund provides academic scholarships for students from within our residential Montana and Idaho service areas. The scholarship program is designed for graduating high school students and/or post-secondary students currently served by Blackfoot at either their parents’ residence or their own principal residence, and/or attending college/university/trade school. Scholarships may be awarded from $1,000, up to $2,500.

It is time to start thinking ahead!
The eligibility criteria to be considered for this $20,000 National Scholarship are as follows:
- Enrollment full time as a high school junior, progressing normally toward graduation in the Spring/Summer 2022, with plans to enter college no later than the fall following graduation; a strong commitment to pursuing and completing a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution located in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution.Idaho, Louisiana, and Montana state scholarship recipients must pursue and complete a degree at specific colleges and universities. Please see the individual program description for those requirements);
- critical financial need ($50,000 or less adjusted gross income per family is preferred, if higher explanation must be provided);
- involvement in co-curricular and community activities;
- demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
- a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
- United States Citizenship.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation Scholarship
This is a nationwide, need based, merit scholarship for high achieving students who require financial assistance in order to attend college. 350 scholarships will be awarded each year. Criteria: 3.5 GPA, ACT score or 23 or higher or SAT score of 1200 or higher, enrolling in a four year college in the fall of 2019, must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year, EFC must be less than $6500, must apply for Federal and State grants, and must not have been convicted of a felony.
