    I will be teaching in room 14 of Thompson Falls High School in the afternoon which means I am available during lunch and after school if you have any questions or concerns.  I also check my email frequently and will be utilizing Google Classroom so feel free to contact me via technology at: ppeters@tfalls.org.  My school phone number is: 406-827-7214.  

     

    Course Description:

    These courses focus on literacy in the traditional sense of reading a variety of  literary texts across genres.  Each unit is related to an Essential Question and uses whole-group, small-group and individual learning activities to allow students to formulate their own perspectives and respond to what they have read. This is a year long course which meets the requirements for a college prep diploma.

    • Synthesize ideas and information
    • Understand and analyze human behaviors and ideas
    • Demonstrate proficiency in the fundamentals of ELA communication
    • Evaluate multiple perspectives to arrive at and articulate their own conclusion



    Grading:

    Students and parents may access grades using Infinite Campus. If there are questions concerning grades, please contact me.  Grades are unofficial until they are posted each quarter and semester.
