Hello Blue Hawk Family!

My name is Bill Cain and I am your new Superintendent of Thompson Fall Public Schools. I will share some of my background and education with you so we can start to get to know one another. After the background information I will share a little bit regarding my beliefs about education.

Prior to becoming Superintendent here, I served as the Director of Student Services for the Hartland Consolidated Schools in Howell, Michigan.  Before that, I served as the Elementary School Principal, Athletic Director/Assistant High School Principal, Teacher and Coach for the Hartland Consolidated Schools since 1987.

As a student athlete, I received an Associates of Arts Degree from North Idaho College, my Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Montana in Missoula, J.D. Degree in law from Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, and my Educational Specialist Degree from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan.

Education is one of the most personal businesses there can be. Relationships must carry the day in our school district. There is nothing more precious than our children, and we want our families to feel comfortable when their children attend our schools. We commit to providing a warm, safe environment where students and staff feel comfortable and can learn together. I am honored to be the Superintendent of Thompson Falls School District and I look forward to meeting you all soon.

Enjoy the summer, school will begin again before you know it.

    Bill Cain
